Health Camp in the Himalayas (Annapurna) with the Yogis
This exhilarating trek allows us to take in some of the most awe-inspiring landscape views of the Himalayan Mountains, going through spectacular forested areas. Altitudes of 3210m are reached, and anyone of a reasonable fitness level should be able to comfortably complete this trek.
The journey begins in the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, from where we will take a short car ride to Nayapul (1100m) village. This is where the adventure really starts. Ascending along the trail through a number of beautiful Village, forest areas and bank of the river to Tirkhadunga (1557m) where you will spend first night. Next day ascending along the trail to Ghorapani-2850m (all the way up hills/ cross 3000 steps), we will be able to appreciate a magnitude of colourful orchids and admire clear views of the towering expanse of Mt. Dhaulagiri I (8167m) and Annapurna I (8091m). The highlight of this trek will be a visit to Poon Hill (3210m) next day early morning, from where we will be able to see a spectacular sunrise over the whole Himalayan range and surrounding rice terraces (a photographers paradise!). After breakfast trekking east to Tadapani (2590m), we will cross some of the most spectacular view place and rhododendron forests. We will also be able to marvel at the gargantuan stature of the fish tail shaped Mt. Fish tail (6900m), Annapurna south (7219m) and Gangapurna (7454m). Our trek continues to Chomrong(2050m) & Next short hike descending to Hot Spring explore and next day you will transfer to pokhara from nayapul.
